  • And your large intestine absorbs water and vitamins/minerals, while also pushing everything along to have healthy bowel movements.

But what happens when our gut is unhealthy (which again, is quite common due to the food industry’s products) is that these processes do not operate efficiently.

The stomach is unable to properly digest the foods, and these foods that are not properly digested begin to enter your bloodstream.

Think of it as “leaking” out.

This causes a disruption in both hormonal balances, as well as inflammation – both responsible for poor skin health.

Would you relate to me if I confessed that my skin has felt “puffy?”

I often mistook my inflamed face for baby fat or pudge when, in fact, it was nothing more than inflammation derived from my poor gut health.

I’ve told you about the faulty food industry, so you probably have concluded that being cognizant about making healthy choices will likely heal your gut.

This, as you guessed, is correct.
